What the site price includes

  • Once live, we’ll fix any technical problems (e.g. a certain part of the Website not functioning as intended) for no charge.
  • Any spelling or grammatical errors (not including blog entries you have made yourself) should there be any, will be rectified for no charge.

What the hosting price includes

What is “managed” hosting?  Put simply, it means we don’t just put your site online on leave it there.  We actually look after it.  Our standard hosting fee is £9.99 per month.  This comes with 2 free security updates per year that are for Wordpress patches and upgrades/ testing (see the point below on this).

  • Hosting fee includes domain name registration and email for that year.
  • The 1st year’s hosting is payable in advance, then billed yearly.
  • Your site runs on mature, robust software, but even that needs updating with security patches from time to time.  When they’re realeased, we’ll update your site for you (maximum of 2 security updates per year on our standard hosting package).  We’ll notify you if patches need applying.  If you are out of credit (i.e. we’ve patched your site more than twice that year), we will contact you first before going ahead.  Please note that this work would then be chargable.
  • As an alternative to the above, you can use our deluxe hosting package.  This costs £24.99 per month but has unlimiited software updates included.  This way, you’ll never need to worry.  As a bonus, you’ll also recieve a 10% discount on our support rates.

What the price doesn’t include

  • Graphic Design: Whilst we can provide stock photography/ images for your site (there may be a small fee depending on the image), if you would like us to use any company logos or other media (product brochures, graphics etc), these should be provided to us in a suitable digital format for use on the web.
  • Changes to your Website once it’s live: Once your site is live, if you require alterations, then these will be chargeable.  Please see our rates below.
  • We’ve given examples of “dynamic” elements that can be included in your website (like galleries/ guestbooks etc).  For the dynamic elements, we use the Wordpress Plugin system for which there are litterally 1000’s of plugins available.  Whilst we can use any of these in theory, in practice we cannot offer any feature available through a plugin at our standard price due to the complexity of some of the elements.  One example of this is shopping carts.  If you require an online shopping facility for your site, this will be at extra cost, which we are happy to quote for.

Our Rates

  • Support can be purchased for £39 for 1 hour.  For work that requires our presence at your site, there is a minimum charge of 1 hour, and we then charge in 30 minute chunks (i.e. £19.50 per 30 minutes).  For work that we can carry out on our premises (i.e. remotely), the minimum charge is 30 minutes, then charged in 30 minute chunks.
